Established in 1981, the Esso Medals and Certificates of Achievement program has become part of the fabric of Canadian community hockey. To date nearly two million medals of achievement and over 30 million certificates of participation have been awarded to young boys and girls on behalf of Esso. Under the program, three medals of achievement for most improved player, most dedicated player, and most sportsmanlike player are available to every hockey team registered with Hockey Canada. As well, each team can receive certificates of participation to recognize the efforts of every player.

At Esso, we believe in making the game of hockey even more rewarding for young players. That's why we created the Esso Medals and Certificates of Achievement program. Celebrating 30 years, this program has supported minor hockey teams by offering awards for players who give it their all.
With medals for Most Dedicated, Most Improved and Most Sportsmanlike and a certificate for each team member, we help every child feel like a champion.
